.: Mourning...
Last night I found out that one of my friends, whom I met playing City of Heroes. Had died in a car accident at the age of 18.
My knee jerk reaction was denial, of course. How could a kid so young have died? But it just goes to show how precious and delicate life is. Friends are gifts from God and throwing them away for petty reasons or over grudges is a mistake, because tomorrow they might not be there.
I played COH for years with Ben. We formed the Sentai Force and it became a bit of a hit on the server and we collected lots of members who took part in our uniform shenanigans. Kickblast was on such member. He became a friend and Ben and I kept in contact even after we stopped playing COH. Admittedly we hadn't talked to him in several months before he died. I'm not sure if that makes his parting harder or not, but either way I can't help but mourn him.
